Our Story

This establishment opened in 2007 after being converted from a used car dealership under the name, The Western Club. The owner, Glenn Fuqua, wanted a place to relax after work, hang out with friends, and have a few drinks. Upon opening, the building had one bar, one pool table, a jukebox, an extremely small dance floor, and a small kitchen. Over the years Glenn’s ideas blossomed and more remodeling and additions were needed. The latest renovation occurred in 2021 and the name was officially changed to The Western Steakhouse and Dancehall. Folks around here just refer to it as “The Western.” Today, there is a dining room in the front with a much larger kitchen, fireplace, and a bar. In the back there is a large dancehall with a wooden dance floor and stage, horseshoe bar plus another back bar, two pool tables, a jukebox, and a great sound system. Some of the greats have played here over the years including Ray Price, Jody Nix, Jason Roberts, Cody Johnson, Asleep at the Wheel, Johnny Bush, Parker McCollum and countless others. The full menu is also served in the dancehall from 4:00pm until 9:00pm Tuesday and Wednesday, 4:00pm until 10:00pm Thursday and Friday, and 4:00pm until 11:00pm on Saturdays.
